As I finish up my final day here at Achievo, I am remembering fond memories from my summer internship. Starting out, I had no idea what to expect, but this experience turned out to be even better than I imagined. There is a strong sense of family in the office and I felt so comfortable working with my colleagues and asking for help without feeling embarrassment. The members of the Achievo group are so encouraging and positive and I’ve learned so much from them.

"Achievo Love." That is what you would call it here. Instead of saying we have good "company culture," it'd be more accurate to just call us a family. Nestled away in the heart of Milpitas, California, the Achievo Corporation Headquarters houses a dozen or so of us. Ranging widely in age groups, we are almost like generations in your family tree, though some of the ones closer to the top might beg to be blissfully ignorant of the fact (ahem). It is because of this structure, though, that we've naturally developed a warm and laid-back way of caring for each other. Burn your hand, and our lovely Mary will conjure up an aloe plant to cool your aching flesh, but also to warm your heart. Got car troubles? Ellis will make sure you get home safely. Hungry? We've got a fridge full of ice cream and a cabinet full of treats. The abundance of store-bought snacks aside, some of us even regularly bring in freshly picked fruit from their backyards, home-made cakes, and other delicious decadents aimed to, as our boss tells it, "fatten us up."  How very fatherly, right?

Hi. My name is Tishiana Mann. I am a rising junior at the University of California, Berkeley and a Sales & Marketing intern this summer at Achievo Corporation.

I have worked at Achievo for about a month now. I am having a great time so far and feel like I am learning a ton about B2B marketing, the tech industry, as well as life in general.

Here are some of my favorite memories with Achievo:

1. Meeting the other interns and the rest of the office. Everyone at Achievo is very welcoming and friendly!

Happy New Year to all! 2012 is a very special year for Achievo, as it marks our company's 10-Year Anniversary. We are very grateful for our ten years of success and accomplishments, and we hope to continue thriving as we look forward into the future.
